System Administrator
Your role
- Contribute to the development of a new scalable platform for Play.fm
- Manage and constantly optimize server infrastructure, backend services, security measures and monitoring
- Keep an eye on a clear and structured systems architecture when new features or products are launched
- Be responsible for high uptime and performance of our systems, while working closely with other sysadmins and devs
Requirements
- Experience with systems administration of high traffic websites, based on linux or unix
- Strong organizational skills
- Curiosity and motivation to constantly learn and improve things.
Bonus
- Experience with freebsd, varnish, nginx, haproxy, mysql, no-sql db
- Experience with php
- Experience with monitoring systems, eg Nagios
- Experience with queue based architectures
