Yipbee is the fast-growing same day grocery platform in Europe.
Yipbee offers every-day products from major supermarkets and deli food from special local markets. Once ordered online, either mobile or in the comfort of your home, Yipbee sends out a personal shopper to take care of your shopping. You can get your food as fast as within two hours. Stop wasting your time by standing in lines, you got better things to do!
Founded in Vienna, Austria, Yipbee will expand to other major, german-speaking cities within the next year.


Your skills:

- You are a coder at heart. You like hard problems, but know how to keep things simple. You would love to do more coding yourself, but accept that you can bring most value by helping others to excel.
- You have build large scale applications with modern web frameworks.
- You can deal with (and ideally limit) lots of complexity. Ideally you know about the complexities of eCommerce.
- You are a fast thinker, hands on manager and strong communicator; you think and act like an entrepreneur
- You know agile. Not just from books. You know how to do fast release cycles without compromising on quality
- You have an outstanding university degree in a technical subject and several years’ experience in a lead developer position
- You are fluent in English


Responsibilities:

- You are responsible for the development and supervision of a team consisting of developers, product manager, testers and system experts
- You find and select talented people and build up a great team
- You lead the development of multiple high-traffic eCommerce sites
- With your deep knowledge you are able to solve complex problems and support your team hands on
- You are in charge of code quality and architecture
- You manage projects, timelines and releases
