Our customer, a major mobile operator in Austria, is looking for a JAVA Developer to extend the existing team.
Tasks:
- Develop work packages on time, to a high standard and in line with the roadmap for our product
- Perform tasks across all aspects of the development incorporating: analysis, application and database design; implementation within existing coding standards; participate in code reviews; creating efficient unit tests, assisting with quality assurance; source code, build and configuration management; and in Code documentation so that it can be maintained by colleagues
- Cross-functionally in java includes more than just using java. eg frontend development with java-script, database scripting, ajax, etc.
- Work closely with the team to clarify specifications and ensure effective code reusability
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of JAVA (preferably JAVA SE) and SQL
- Test-driven development skills
- Broad knowledge of software industry standards (XML, HTTP)
- Skills/experience with any of these technologies would be a plus:
- Linux
- Web Services, WSDL, SOAP
- Oracle (schema design and optimization)
- Development and project tools: SVN/Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA
- Android
- Spring
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- JSP, Thymeleaf, Angular 2
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Team player
- Excellent English, German would be a plus
