As a Bioinformatics Developer you will work at the core of the Platomics team where you have the opportunity to directly influence the way how personalize medicine is going to impact the future.
As a Bioinformatics Developer you have the following responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of bioinformatics-based solutions for personalized medicine
- Development of data-driven applications
- Design and implementation of highly scalable, cloud-based microservices
- Development of highly stable and well documented code for a medical application
Required qualifications:
- University degree with focus on a computational discipline (Bioinformatics, Physics, Computational Chemistry, Computer Science, ...)
- Professional development experience with Python
- Enthusiasm to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Not afraid of complex problems
Nice-to-haves:
- Domain knowledge in Bioinformatics and Next Generation Sequencing
- Familiarity with Molecular Biology or Medical Applications of NGS
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with design of Microservices
- Development experience with CUDA
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow, ...)
- Familiarity with agile software development
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in Linux and bash

You’ll earn an appropriate salary starting at EUR 58.000 gross. Willingness for over-payment is given for candidates with proper experience and/or qualifications.
