Would you classify yourself as a data enthusiast? As a machine learning stack engineer, you will work at involve.me at the interface between data science and software development. You have the chance to set the first building block of our new data science team by helping to develop the ML stack and the operation of the ML production environment. You will also support the product and software development team in embedding and using all new ML components in our SaaS product.
involve.me is a B2B2C SaaS startup based in a stylish Altbau office in Vienna’s 4th district. Our SaaS helps marketers and entrepreneurs with no coding skills create beautifully effective interactive funnels with content such as intelligent forms, surveys, landing pages, quizzes, product recommenders, calculators and payment pages.
Responsibilities
– Conceptualization, setup and further development of a production-ready ML environment including architecture, tools, frameworks, etc.
– Planning and development of ML components for e-commerce product classification and automated meta-data enrichment
– Development and rollout of AI modules for automated text-generation using NLP
– Implementation of data quality and model performance evaluation pipelines
– Improvement and maintenance of our ML stack
– Cooperation in connection with the developer and product team
Here’s a few things we’re looking for you to bring to the team
– Completed degree in computer science or comparable experience with a focus on machine learning or information retrieval
– At least 3 years of professional experience in a role with the advertised core competencies
– Excellent knowledge and practical skills in ML (deep learning, NLP)
– Excellent knowledge of one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C # or C ++
– Experience with machine learning toolkits (Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
– Excellent software design, problem solving and debugging skills
- Knowledge or experience with recommender systems are an advantage
– Knowledge of PHP (Laravel Framework) and Javascript (Vue.JS) are an advantage
– Good communication skills, solution-oriented way of working and strategic thinking
- Knowledge of AWS cloud and ML services environment (optional)
