Main duties
Within delegated authority, the SAP ABAP WRICEF Programmer will be responsible for the following duties:
- Liaising with business users to analyze demands, specify requirements;
- Creating specialized reports, SAP modules and complex functions using the ABAP programming language;
- Designing forms for SAP modules using SAPscript, Adobe Forms;
- Providing technical support to users on matters related to the programming of SAP modules;
- Preparing comprehensive technical program documentation including specifications, test conditions, test plans, test data, etc.;
- Training selected staff in programming of forms and reports, defining authorization roles, custom
workflows, and other related areas;
- Performing related duties as assigned.

Technical skills: Planning and organizational skills, reporting, presentation, training and team work.
Behavioural: Analytical thinking and problem solving abilities; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Communication and drafting skills, both written and oral, and interpersonal skills.

Main Functions
Within delegated authority, the SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for the following duties:
- Performing SAP user account and authorization management;
- Managing transport system, batch jobs, spool system, security and other incidents / problem reports;
- SAP MaxDB database administration and backup management;
- SAP Kernel/Database/Application installation, patches and upgrades;
- SAP MaxDB and application server monitoring and performance tuning;
- Creating System (client) copies for QA, training, etc.;
- Liaising with and supporting development team, training team;
- Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements
Education: Advanced University degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area that provides the analytical skills required to perform SAP Basis administration.
Experience: Successfully completed all SAP ADMxxx courses or equivalent in experience. SAP System Administration certification(s) C-TAD50_70 preferred. At least 5 years of increasingly responsible practical experience in SAP Basis Administration. Specific experience in SAP ERP 6.0/EHP5 (FI/CO, HCM, SRM, BI, Portal/KM, eRecruiting); Netweaver 7.3/7.02, SAP MaxDB, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMWare environment preferred.

Language skills: Fluency in English.

About the Internship

3. Eligibility Criteria:

a. Education: The applicant must have completed at least 3 years of full-time studies at a university
b. Languages: The applicant must possess a good working knowledge of English. Knowledge of other official United Nations languages (French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese and Russian) is an asset.
c. Nationality: Applicants from member states have priority.
d. Skills: The applicant should be able to adapt to an international multicultural environment, have good communication skills and be computer literate (MS Office).
e. Age: The applicant should be aged between 21 and 35 years of age.
f. Fields of study: Examples of academic qualifications could be:
• economics, development-oriented industrial policy
• international law, with orientation in investment and technology
• statistics, with orientation in industrial-related indicators
• environmental sciences, orientation in international conventions/protocols
• public and business administration
• social sciences, preferably with a focus on political science/international relations
• chemistry, biotechnology
• engineering, preferably in energy/environment, food processing or agro-related industries
