Ich habe LAMP (XLAMPP) auf meinem SuSE Linux 9.0 Server installiert und würde jetzt gerne meine Homepage raufladen...

Ich habe aber folgendes Problem:

mein htdocs befindet sich im Verzeichnis /opt/lampp/htdocs, welches dem root gehört und wenn ich da Dateien reinkopieren will, dann geht das nur wenn ich den Konqueror mit dem Befehl "sudo" öffne! Ich würde aber gerne die Dateien von meinem PC über die Netzwerkumgebung reinkopieren... Allerdings kann ich den Ordner nicht freigeben, weil ich nur Ordner aus dem persönlichen Verzeichnis freigeben kann...

Sollte man die Dateien per FTP (SSH) uploaden?

Was könnte ich machen?

ad Becherer: als DNS trag ich die DNS von Chello ein, oder? Was setzt ich als Gateway?

ich habe SuSE Linux 9.0 auf meinem Server installiert, aber ich komme nicht ins Internet... beim booten zeigt es zwar bei der Netzwerkkarte die IP an und "done", aber im Konqueror steht dann immer "unbekannter Rechner"...

übrigens habe ich einen Kabel-Internetanschluß (Chello, Österreich)

bei KInternet kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:

Die Verbindung zum lokalen und entfernten Server wurde abgelehnt. Vermutlich läuft smpppd nicht oder Sie sind nicht in der Gruppe "dialout".

es war ein Hardwarekonflikt auf IRQ 12 mit der eth1 (war eine ISA, hab sie jetzt durch eine PCI ersetzt)!

Ich glaube es liegt ein Hardwarekonflikt vor! Wie kann ich die IRQ Belegung unter SuSE Linux 9.0 ändern?

Habe gehört dass es mit "gpm" (und "repeater") zusammenhängen könnte... kenn mich da aber nicht aus!

Ich habe SuSE Linux 9.0 auf meinen Server installiert und habe jetzt folgendes Problem: Während der Installation und beim ersten Systemstart funktioniert die Maus einwandfrei. Aber sobald ich nachher mal neu starte rührt sie sich nicht mehr! An was könnte das liegen???

Ich habe mal in YAST die Hardware-Information aufgerufen, da erscheint die Sparte "MAUS" auch gar nicht. (da gibt es für jede Hardware eine Sparte z.B. Grafikkarte, wo dann meine Karte drinnensteht)

Ich würde gerne eine eigene Error 404 Seite machen...

Ich habe eine .htaccess mit folgendem Inhalt erstellt:

Aber wenn ich die .htaccess in meinem Verzeichnis mit den *.htm Dateien hab, dann kommt diese Fehlermeldung:

Im Apache error.log steht dann:

Was muss ich noch einstellen, dass es funktioniert??

Ich habe eine Domain registriert und muss jetzt 2 DNS angeben. Kann ich dazu auch meinen eigenen Server angeben? Was muss ich da einstellen bzw. installieren?

Ein DNS ist ja im Prinzig nur der Server auf dem die Seite liegt, oder? Hat vielleicht jemand einen Link, wo das ganze Zeug (DNS, DHCP, ...) erklärt ist?

Nein, über den Namen erreich ich ihn nicht!

Ich habe zu Hause einen Apache Webserver auf dem Server laufen. Ich kann die Websites die drauf sind auch von meinem LAN aufrufen. Aber von irgendwo ausserhalb geht es nicht.

Jetzt meine Vermutung: der Apache verwendet nur die Netzwerkkarte die die Clients mit dem Server und nicht die, die den Server mit dem Internet verbindet.

Wie kann ich das ändern, falls das wirklich das Problem sein sollte?
