meinKauf is currently looking for a creative and highly motivated individual with strong interest in emerging technologies to join our team as a Backend Developer. We are fundamentally changing the advertising landscape in the retail market and we look for someone who is eager to play a leading role within this movement and wants to contribute to our continued success. In addition to have innovative ideas and a hands-on‐mentality, you should especially be passionate about your work and the challenges of a fast-growing start‐up company.

Your Tasks:
* Work in small, cross-functional teams committed to building awesome applications in an agile fashion.
* Write high quality applications that can achieve massive scale
* Instrument applications for real time monitoring and redundancy
* Innovate at a very fast pace to maintain our competitive edge
* Drive the design and build a new platform for online to offline marketing
Minimum Qualifications:
* Knowledge of Java and the most common Java Frameworks
* Knowledge of JavaScript/ECMAScript and ideally an understanding of Node.js
* Knowledge of Ruby on Rails
* Knowledge of and experience with git
* Strong knowledge of server side HTTP and REST interfaces
* Experience with AngularJS, Express, AWS, Java, MySQL, Redis or Neo4J is preferred
* A passion for learning
