In the course of the expansion of our team we are looking for immediate start for:
.NET Programmer (f/m)
Preferably full-time (optionally part-time)
Your Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Work in a young and dynamic team of Data, Software and Petroleum Engineers
- Develop .NET and ASP.NET software solutions and web applications
- Design and implement such solutions
- Collaborate with and our Petroleum Engineers to translate their ideas into software code
- Consult our customers to efficiently work together on developing such solution
Your Profile/Skills:
- Strong communication skills to correspond with clients, data scientists and our engineers while gathering technical specifications, which you will need in translating requirements into functional code.
- At least +2 years experience using latest Visual Studio, VB.NET or C#, HTML, ASP.NET, XML and/or PL/SQL.
- Advanced .NET (parallelization, async programming)
- You must also have at least +1 year experience in using web/application servers such as IIS
- At least +2 years developing software libraries or web applications utilizing SQL, HTML, ASP.NET and/or ODBC.
- Additional skills such as Microsoft SQL Server, TFS, Azure Cloud and Visual Studio.NET would be beneficial.
- Being familiar with developing Win 8 apps, WPF and latest UI design requirements (graphical design)
- Ability to understand requirements, development of software and web apps, implementation & support
- Be able to work individually and on team projects (team player)
- Verify accuracy, safety and completeness of projects by implementing comprehensive testing
- Providing source code and formal documentation
- Analytical thinking and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Proficient in spoken and written English (preferable)
