Junior Linux Systems Engineer
Unlimited Contract; Vienna, Austria
What you’ll be doing
- Optimisation and upkeep of our current infrastructure environment.
- Administration of server, storage, and network components.
- Maintaining and refining our operating processes.
- Implementation and upkeep of network infrastructure.
- Supporting our storage system.
- Responsibilities within our cloud environment.
- Monitoring and documenting of infrastructure components and procedures.
What you’ll offer
- Linux knowledge and familiarity.
- Passionate about hardware.
- Interest in scripting and automation.
- An analytical approach to troubleshooting.
- Desire to gain skills in networks (hands-on networking skills are an advantage).
- Awareness of security best practice.
- Interest in virtualisation and containerisation.
- Knowledge in any of the following would be considered a plus: System/network monitoring, Ansible, Apache/Nginx, Python, Bash, RHEL Satellite, SSL/TLS, SSH, OpenVPN, PFSense, Docker, NFS, Python, RegEx, Office365, Apache Kafka, NetBox, SQL.
